About Ghareeb

Ghareeb makes it easy to explore well-known dictionaries of Classical Arabic for free. Currently, it supports the following dictionaries, and more will be added in the future insha'Allah:

• al-Mufradat fi Gharib al-Quran by Al-Raghib al-Isfahani (d. 502 / 1108)
• Mukhtar al-Sihah by Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr Razi (d. 777 / 1376)
• Al-Qamus al-Muhit by Firuzabadi (d. 817 / 1415)
• Lisan al-Arab by Ibn Manzur (d. 711 / 1311)
• Lane's Lexicon by Edward William Lane (d. 1293 / 1876)
